Senior Pictures for the yearbook will be taken on October 7th and 8th during the students english class period. These will be cap and gown photos and will be available for purchase through lifetouch. If students wish to do more poses/outfits for their senior portraits they may arrange that through prestige or a photographer of their choice.
Makeup pictures will be Nov 4th

Graduation Ceremony
Hard work deserves to be celebrated
Everything you need to know about Graduation Day!!!
Graduation is Friday, May 30th at 6:00 p.m. Gates open at 5:00 p.m.
● Tickets are required for all attendees over the age of 5. Each Graduate will receive 6 tickets. All tickets
are general admission therefore seating is on a first-come basis. Extra tickets are not available for purchase. If
you would like more tickets please fill out the google form (QR Code at the bottom of this letter) and requests
may be filled if tickets become available.
● Graduates need to arrive at 5:00 p.m. in the Aux Gym by the Stadium. Drop offs will only be allowed on the
sidewalk on Chase.
● Graduates must wear their cap and gown with appropriate school attire underneath. Students should
wear low-heeled or flat shoes because narrow or spiked heels are a safety hazard on the field. Graduates may
not wear or carry any backpacks, purses or any object that will disrupt the ceremony. “Decorating Caps” is not
allowed.
● Diplomas will be available for pick up immediately after the ceremony in the aux gym. If you receive a fine notice
instead of your diploma, you must pay the fine at the Student Store to receive your diploma, Students may pay
fines prior to graduation day or the Student Store will be reopened Tuesday, May 28th.
● Tickets are not required for graduates.
● Wheelchair seating is available all along the first row of the bleachers. Handicap parking and/or drop off will be
down Lancer Lane by the tennis courts.
● NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAND IN FRONT OF THE BLEACHERS AS THEY BLOCK THE VIEW OF
PEOPLE SITTING IN THE FRONT ROW.
● No ice chests, food or drinks (except water) will be allowed in the stadium during this event. ALSO, NO
BALLOONS ARE ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM AS THEY HINDER THE VIEW OF OTHERS. PLEASE
LEAVE BALLOONS IN YOUR VEHICLE. We want this to be an enjoyable experience for ALL attendees.
● Anyone arriving after 6pm may not be guaranteed seating in the section of their choice.
● The stadium field will be open for 30 minutes after the ceremony for pictures. Please do not rush the field, and
be respectful of others.

the morning of the ceremony for the link.

Senior Breakfast
Practice
Practice will start promptly, at 9:00 a.m. on May 30th and should conclude by 10:30 a.m. as it usually only takes 60 – 90 minutes. Students will find their assigned seats in the stadium. ALL GRADUATES PLANNING ON ATTENDING THE GRADUATION CEREMONY MUST ATTEND THE PRACTICE. Students will receive their tickets at the conclusion of practice. Please wear a sun hat, sunscreen or bring an umbrella as it will be sunny and hot.

Parking
Parking is $5.00 cash or Venmo and will be managed by Rancho Cordova’s PAL Program. We encourage carpooling as parking will be limited. Handicapped parking is available—please follow the direction of the signs and PALS personnel. Graduates will receive a parking pass for themselves to use, free of charge. The park will be closed and no parking in the park will be permitted. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park on Chase Drive. Parking will open at 4pm.
Extra Tickets
Students who do not meet Graduation Requirements
Students who do not meet the graduation requirements will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. Final notification of non-completion will be made to parents by Thursday, May 29th (the date of the last final exam). If we are unable to contact you, please call your student’s counselor for this information. Students who do not meet requirements are encouraged to discuss available options with their assigned counselor.
Fines
Fine lists are posted by student ID number outside of the administration and counseling offices. If you have questions about a fine please contact Mrs. Lawrence at 294-2450, ext. 810430. Seniors with fines will not receive their diploma until all fees are paid in full at the Student Store or online with a credit card. This includes books that were not turned in, so please make sure all school books are returned before school is out.
Senior pranks, fights and other violations before Graduation
Although rare, serious violations of Education Code 48900, do occur prior to graduation. Students in need of administrative services for these violations will be suspended offsite and removed from any and all end of the year activities, including graduation ceremonies. Please refer to the Student Conduct Code located on our website for the various levels of infractions warranted by administrative services.
