Enrollment and Registration
If you are new to Cordova High and your previous/current school were not in FCUSD, follow the steps listed in the Enrollment section.

Step 1 - The Documents
If you have any questions or need assistance in filling out any form, please reach out to the registrar or clerk.
Cordova High Enrollment Packet
You will need to fill out the following forms:
Course Selection
9th Grade
10th Grade
11th Grade
12th Grade
Affidavit of Residency (not required)
Caregiver's Authorization (not required)
Previous School Documents
To ensure your student is placed in the correct classes and stays on track to graduate we will need the following documents from the previous school.

Copy of most Current IEP or 504 (if the student has one)
Your Students complete file will be requested by the registrar once the enrollment packet is returned.

Certified copy of birth record or statement by the local register or county recorder certifying birth date

Step - 2 Communication
Turn in all your documents to the registrar.
Thats it! Just turn them in!
The Registrar will accept them by email or you can drop them off at the school.
Having a hard time getting a document? Just call and we will work with you and the previous school to help your student(s) get enrolled.
*If you are coming by Cordova during summer or other school breaks, please call ahead to ensure the registrar will be available.
Step 3 - PowerSchool
Once the Enrollment documents have been verified, you will be sent a login and password to set up your Powerschool (AKA Infosnap) Parent account.
This is where you will be asked for emergency contacts, medical information, and other information required by the district.

How to Register on PowerSchool
Step 4 - You're Now a Lancer Parent
If you are continuing your Lancer journey, follow the steps listed in the Registration section.
Registration
If you are Here, that means its registration time again. Your student(s) will be meeting with councilors and picking their classes for next year. To ensure your students get the classes they are requesting, registration must be completed on time. Please go to your Parent Portal to register.
PowerSchool
If you have questions, please contact our Registrar. Also keep an eye on our calendar for registration nights where you can receive in-person help from staff and Bilingual aids.

How to Register on PowerSchool

To request an Education Verification please submit via FAX your verification form with the following items:
- Student's full name while attending Cordova High School
- Student's date of birth
- Graduating year
- Authorizing signature from student

Student Withdrawls
Is your student changing schools? Are you leaving the Folsom Cordova Unified School District?
Don't forget to stop by and see our Registrar! We can get you the forms you need for your new school and make sure all your books have been returned. We also have a form for you to fill out so you will no longer receive those pesky attendance calls from us.

Work Permits
*Work Permits during the school year will be processed through the college and career center in the library.*
Summer Work Permits.
Students working during the summer are still required by state law to have a work permit. Our registration office is open year-round and will process summer work permits. The application must be filled out by the employer and student before being submitted for approval.
Please call before stopping by to ensure the registrar's office hours or to make an appointment.
Requirements for a Summer Work Permit
- Have a job before enrolling in the program.

Be at least 16 years old, or a Junior or Senior in high school.

Have your parent or guardian's approval.

Have acceptable citizenship and a 2.0 GPA, as of the last grading period (quarter or semester).
