Individuals and Society

The Individuals & Society Department at Cordova High School strives to help students achieve through lessons that are student centered, building strong critical thinking skills, as well as a working knowledge of history, and develop the academic skills to excel in university and or the workplace.

Our department prides itself on educating students of all levels & abilities, offering advanced classes in our International Baccalaureate MYP & Diploma Programs.   In the 9th & 10th grade students will finish their MYP classes with completing their personal Project.  In their 11th grade they can decide to take our advanced I.B. classes to prepare them for university.  We also offer a wide range of elective classes that students can take from their 9th grade year to 12th grade.
